Awareness Creating Traing on Deaf Persons given to Addis Ababa Police Commission Members

An awareness creating training on deaf persons was given to some members of the Addis Ababa Police Commission on 10 June 2022.

The Ethiopian National Association of the Deaf (ENAD) gave a one day awareness creating training to 25 Addis Ababa Police Commission members selected from the various sub cities in Addis Ababa. The objective of the training was to prevent the violation of the rights of the deaf in the process of the day-to-day law enforcement activities by the police. The officers who attended the workshop have pledged to protect the deaf from any violation of their rights as well as share the knowledge they gained with their colleagues.
